Explaining further, she stated:
“At CHHI, Our utmost concern is to assist every child live healthy, access education and work towards achieving their full potential by providing a more holistic care and support to the children who possess necessary academic ability but lack required financial support.”
“We also organise vocational trainings and workshops for the less privileged and public at large. Our goal is to raise children who will contribute positively to the development of the nation,” she added.
Expressing her deep appreciation, on behalf of CHHI Management, the ED thanked the official sponsors of the programme – AlikoDangote Foundation, Hope for Women in Nigeria Initiative and others. She called on other corporate bodies and well-meaning individuals to join the league of sponsors, thereby making positive impact in the lives of the Needy.
One of the beneficiaries, a mother, expressed her delight at the gesture offered by CHHI, saying, “God bless the sponsors and the management of this NGO, for helping to save the lives of our children.”
Another beneficiary, a boy, could not hold his joy as he prayed “God, please continue to bless all the people that have provided this opportunity for us.”
Indeed, it was a day to remember as men and women were fully attended to, while the children took home…packs containing milk, cake and lots more.
