Lagos Ikoyi Lions Club on Tuesday 15th, February 2022 joined Lions the World over to commemorate the Peadiatric Cancer Day by visiting the Massey Children Hospital on Lagos where it donated medical equipments and cleaning materials to the Hospital,
the Medical Director Dr Mrs Ceceila Mabogunje who received the items on behalf of the Hospital was very appreciative of the kind gesture displayed by the Club because she recalls that the Lagos Ikoyi Lions Club has been visiting the Hospital since 2018 to donate items.
The Medical Director then took the members of Lagos Ikoyi Lions Club on tour of the wards so they could witness first hand how their donations has been saving children lives.
The Chairperson Peadiatric Cancer Committee of the Club, Lion Pat Marcus informed Club members at the January 2022 Business Meeting that she got the list of items needed by the Hospital when she visited the Hospital for needs assessment. She thanked the Club President Lion Abdulkarim Yusuf for the opportunity accorded her to serve.

13. Ariel soap 2 bags of 30 packs
14. Disinfectants
15. Toilet cleaner
The First Vice President of the Club Lion Raji Taiwo who handed over the items to the Hospital Medical Director on behalf of the Club President Lion Abdulkarim Yusuf, narrated the importance of the Month as Peadiatric Cancer is one of the five focus areas of Lions Clubs International.
Lion Grace Osunwa when answering questions also emphasized the need for charity organizations to come to the aid of the less privileged ones as Government cannot do it all alone.
A total of fifteen Club Members were present at the donation ceremony that includes the Club Marketing and Communication Chairperson and the current Zone 1a Chairperson and Past President of the Club Lion TPL Soledotun Titilope Abdulkarim-Yusuf, the Club Secretary Lion Shobande, Lion Tessy Ajakaiye Past President, Lion Stella Busari Past President and a host of others.
